Sound is just as important as the visual image in a home theatre viewing experience. When you invest in a new flat-screen TV, the PM-09S is the perfect sound accompaniment. Cinema Precision PM-09S can either be wall-mounted or placed on a stand. A wall mounting bracket accompanies each speaker. Alternatively, stands are available for both shelf- and floor mounting the speakers. With this in mind we created Cinema Precision, a speaker series with a design uniquely suited to accompany flat screens or projection screens. The Cinema Precision PM-09C is the series’ centre speaker, and can either be wall-mounted or placed on the accompanying stand. Both black and white front covers accompany the PM-09S.

With the growth in popularity of flat on-wall LCD, TFT and Plasma screens, AudioPro became aware of the requirement for complementary on-wall loudspeakers. AudioPro has established a reputation for designing high quality elegant speakers and the Cinema Precision System is an excellent example of its design flair.In keeping with the look of a monitor screen, the Cinema Precision mini monitors are made of solid aluminium. This choice of material also has significant sonic benefits: the extra rigidity removes unwanted resonances. The PM-02 mini monitor is an elegant and versatile design, capable of wall mount (integral bracket), stand mount and free standing applications. At less than 9” high and only 3.5” wide and deep, this mini monitor will blend into any environment. A pair of PM-02 monitors can be used with the matching Cinema Precision subwoofer as part of a stereo system or collectively as part of a 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 system. Whether mounted on a wall or discreetly located around the listening room, the Cinema Precision PM-02 will provide a refined performance that belies its size.
When all else is in its correct place, a conventional speaker can ‘stick out like a sore thumb’. PM-02 is a diminutive mini-monitor that does fit in. It also includes a multi-bracket that enables you to attach it to the wall or mount it as a shelf-or centre speaker. PM-02 speakers are sold individually so you can, for example, transform your 5.1 speaker set-up to a 6.1 system.

The A90 is an elegant floor-standing loudspeaker, which brings together many elements of AudioPro’s expertise. As part of the Avanti range, the A70 utilises a super-tweeter, capable of reproducing frequencies beyond 40 kHz. In the A70, the super-tweeter is combined with two 5 ¼” drive units creating a precise, integrated sound field. Each A70 is pedestal mounted with a downward firing Airflow bass reflex port. Such an arrangement optimises bass control and output within the room.In common with all Avanti models, internal bracing is combined with a distinctive teardrop shaped cabinet, creating an inert structure within which all drive units work efficiently and accurately. The teardrop cabinet also helps to eliminate standing waves. The A70 is available in two wood finishes: Dark Italian Walnut and Graphite Walnut. Whether your requirements are for a speaker system which fully exploits high resolution formats such as SACD, or one which delivers the power and precision required for breathtaking home theatre sound, the Avanti A70 will prove to be an accomplished performer.

As the reference model for the Avanti range, the A100 combines every aspect of AudioPro’s expertise to create a speaker of exceptional authority and refinement. The A100 exploits fully the advantages of Audio Pro’s Ace-Bass technology. Within each A100 cabinet resides an 8” long-throw down-firing woofer driven by a 150W amplifier. Independent level controls allow the fine-tuning of both bass extension and LFE information. Such an arrangement allows the A100 to extend all the way down to 22 Hz, removing the need for external subwoofers. At the opposite end of the frequency spectrum, the ¾” super-tweeter is combined with two 5 ¼” drive units to provide a precise sound field extending all the way up to 40 kHz. The structural integrity of the A100 cabinet is assured by quadruple cross-bracing, whilst its teardrop shape eliminates standing waves. The A100 is available in two wood finishes: Dark Italian Walnut and Graphite Walnut. Music, home theatre and multi-channel audio are reproduced with equal refinement and authority by the A100, a sophisticated loudspeaker for any environment.

Audio Pro has always more than ‘held its own’ in independent tests of subwoofers. We’ve now raised our technology to a new level. ACE-BASS 2 is a unique subwoofer with incredible performance for a speaker this size. It reproduces bass information with detail, power and control that impress. The bass reproduction sets a new standard for what such a small subwoofer can achieve. With the ACE-BASS 2 we aimed to build the smallest possible subwoofer capable of delivering bass sounds that exceed the expectations of even the most discerning music enthusiast. ACE-BASS 2 is equipped with four small specially designed 5 1/2” bass drivers with neodymium magnets. To make bass reproduction as good as possible, ACE-BASS 2is equipped with an adaptive filter. Deep base tones are rendered with the help of a 10” passive radiator with a linear stroke of 25 mm and extremely low losses.
Totally unique in design and approach, the Ace Bass 2 is set to change the concept of bass reproduction. The primary design objective was to create a subwoofer of the highest performance whilst retaining a small footprint. To this end a multi-driver approach was found to offer exceptional; depth, control, and slam within a small cabinet. Four 5 ½” long throw drivers powered by a 500W Ace-Bass amplifier work in harmony with a 10” passive radiator. Such an arrangement provides all the depth and slam of a larger driver, but with the greater control and speed afforded by the use of smaller drive units. High power Neodymium magnets and long throw voice coils allow the four drivers to remain linear during the most demanding music and film passages. Multiple connection options are provided. An LFE input bypasses the in-built crossover using the digital crossover within the connected AV amplifier. The stereo line level inputs and outputs permit the direct connection of a stereo preamplifier whilst still retaining the variable high-pass filter. Finally a stereo speaker level input permits direct connection to an integrated amplifier. With this arrangement smaller satellite speakers connected to the high-pass output of the Ace Bass 2 are protected from all frequencies below 100Hz allowing the whole system to operate with greater control and to higher output levels. With a Satin finished Titanium Grey cabinet the Ace Bass 2 will not visually draw attention to itself, but when music or film tracks demand you will certainly be aware of its presence.
