How to Choose the Right Acne Control Solution

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008

Acne is a problem many of us have had or continue to have and is something that can’t be cured, but can only be controlled.

No matter how companies try to advertise their over the counter acne control solutions as better or different from the others, each of their products relies on only one or two basic active ingredients in their formulation. They are Salicylic Acid and Benzoyl Peroxide. And a doctor’s prescription isn’t required because each dose contains a small amount of these medicines.

How then do we decide which to try? When you look at people’s reviews of the various acne control solutions they’ve used, you may start to notice that there isn’t a one best product or solution for everyone who has an acne pimple problem.

Reviewers and users suggest you follow directions and give each product time to work. After a fair trial and you don’t notice your acne improve, you should then try another product.

Some complain their acne got worst with a particular product. But some believe that is a temporary stage when deeper acne is exposed and will eventually disappear with regular use.

The Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit is one such acne control solution that is available almost everywhere and claims to both clear up skin in 24 hours and works better than Proactiv, an acne control solution product sold on infomercials and endorsed by celebrities.

Users of these acne control solutions do agree that keeping their acne under control does require almost daily care of their skin with these and other skin care products.

Other acne control or skin care products:

In the reviews of the Clean & Clear Blackhead Eraser Kit, most people reported that it was effective in removing their blackheads.

People who used the Neutrogena Wave Power-Cleanser, reported that it was an effective way to remove dirt and oil from their skin.

Users say their skin felt smoother and was less blotchy after using Arbonne NutriMinC RE9. Fine lines around eyes improved. With NutriMinC RE9, users avoided the use of painful, expensive and dangerous peels.

Other Search Engines Get Nice Traffic, Also

Websites with results closer to the top are obviously more likely to be seen/clicked by users so will have a higher page share than those listed farther down in the results. Additionally, since a website may be listed more than once in search results this also had to be considered when calculating page share. Web users turn to search engines for answers to their questions. This is usually done through various levels of searching the engine’s database.

The problem is, your direct competitors  have the same idea! This creates an environment where you’ll always be fighting, kicking and scratching to maintain your traffic - along with the ever present fear that your livelihood is only one “algorithm update” away from vanishing. It’s getting harder and harder for the “little guy” to get any kind of meaningful web presence on the web these days.

It is generally accepted that Google enjoy 60 percent of search traffic, while Yahoo and Msn enjoy 30 and 10 percent respectively. However, there are other vital factors to consider before abandoning the latter two while you try to crack Google.

While Msn has less traffic, the traffic generally converts significantly better than both Google as well as Yahoo. The reasons for this are varied and complex and beyond the scope of this article. But you can verify this with almost all PPC marketers as well as those that have content websites.

Think outside the box- be a contrarian.  MSN and Yahoo can bring you significant traffic, if you pay attention to their rules and have some content that will rank well under their systems.
